Lasted years, Alcatel presented some products that sold them
very well: for example, the family of mobiles "One Touch" and some
solutions for quick Internet and ADSL.

products a very good-quality work, recognizes in all the world.
What are the difficulties ?
At the present time, all the sector of telecommunication has
problems: during 3 or 4 years (between 1995 and 2000), all telecommunications
firms worked very well grace of Internet and the mobile markets which spreaded
out, and they invested. But today, nearly everybody (in Europe, America and
the East Asia) has got a mobile and a computer with Internet: the market is
saturated and the firms have difficulties to survive. Their present market is
to invent new products, but that cost a lot because they have to invested in
researches for spread out new technologies.
Meanwhile, Alcatel resist better at this crisis than a lot of its competitors
who had to stop their firm. This, grace of some recent products which have functioned
very well (mobile One Touch 511, 512, 525, 720…) and of its spaces activities,
of its position of leader in the world for network and development of ADSL.
