GEOGRAPHY

With regard to the geography these two continents are not similar at all.

Climate :
In Africa the climate is tropical and in Europe the climate is moderate.

The climate of Africa drains the grounds and trains a cruel lack of agriculture in central Africa so a malnutrition of the population amongst other things.

It's a really big problem for Africa.

Surface :
The surface of Africa is equal to 30,310 million square kilometers.
The surface of Europe is equal to 10,498 million square kilometers.

The surface of Africa is 2.88 higher than the surface of Europe.

Comparatively to its extent Africa is not very populated.
It's not similar for Europe.

The number of countries :
As in Europe ,certain african countries have a largest importance or influence compared to others .

There is 48 countries in Africa and 46 countries in Europe.
Africa is a colonized continent: France, England, Belgium had conquered and directed territories and installed colonists. From 1951it's the decolonization: the majority of the countries became independent and created new borders by dividing the old colonies.

If there is a similar number of countries between the two continents it's because the Europe has colonizated Africa and does borders as its continent.

Forests :
In Africa ,because of its climate the grounds are not fertile thus the forests are very few compared to the extent of this continent.
While in Europe the climate allows a better forester development .

In Africa there are 649866 thousands of square kilometres of forest surface.
In Europe there are 1039251 thousands of square kilometres of forest surface .

In Europe the forest surface is 1.60 times higher than the african forest surface.

The lack of forest in Africa involves serious consequences such as the lack of culture thus a malnutrition of the population or less exports so less money .

Population density :
As we said before Africa isn't so populated compared to its extent.
Contrary to Europe which is proportionally poplulated compared to its territorial extent.

Africa has a population density equal to 25.7 inhabitants per square kilometre.
Europe has a population density equal to 32.2 inhabitants per square kilometre.
In Europe the population density is 1.25 times higher than the african population density.

Density in Africa and in Europe per square kilometers
There are several explanations to this phenomenon : Africa is the continent the most touched by the AIDS , many people are victims and die about it, the malnutrition which reign on this continent, the low number of doctors for thousand inhabitants…
In Europe the medical means are very significant and it's a rich continent.
That could explain these differences of population density between these two continents .

In conclusion we can say that Africa has a lots of problems because of its climate , contrary to Europe which doesn 't has any problems with its. If you have fertile grounds you have money and health .

Financially and culturally speaking Africa and Europe are very different.
